IDENTITY:

“Do Less, Do Better, Know Why” Is a quote that has been in existence forever, but was recently popularized by author Cal Newport in his 2016 book Deep Work. It means to do a few things, in an interesting array, very well. This form of essentialism allows you to cut the noisy many, to the audible few. This theory of focus and productivity is the very ethos of Kadett. We are not looking to reinvent the wheel, but to make it as functional as possible. It is hard to hold a “minimalist” or “essentialist” design theory in one of the most wasteful industries on the planet. But Kadett looks a step further and questions the very infrastructure of modern clothing. Not being blinded by the parameters of gender-based clothing, Kadett streamlines all of it’s garments to be fluidly unisex. This, along with the functionality of every piece, allows the distractions of modern fashion to disappear. Allowing us to Do Less, Do Better, and Know Why.
